Kalithea is a small coastal town located on the eastern coast of the island of Rhodes, Greece. It is situated about 9 kilometers southeast of the city of Rhodes, near the village of Faliraki.
The town is famous for its therapeutic hot springs, which were first discovered by the ancient Greeks and later developed by the Italians during their occupation of Rhodes. Today, the Kalithea Springs
are a popular tourist attraction and a favorite spot for swimming and sunbathing. In addition to the hot springs, Kalithea also has a beautiful beach, several cafes and restaurants, and a picturesque harbor.
The town is easily accessible by car or public transportation from the city of Rhodes and other nearby areas.

The population is 9,364 (2011 census) and the land area is 109.750 km².
The seat of the municipality was in Kalythies. The beach resort Faliraki is also situated in the municipal unit.
